Canada family sponsorship support
Bringing a parent or grandparent closer to family in Canada can feel personal and urgent. We can help you understand the Parents and Grandparents Program, organise documents, and prepare questions for the official process.
Find an office near youAbout parent and grandparent sponsorship
Canada's Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) is a Family Class permanent-residence sponsorship pathway. It gives eligible Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and people registered under the Indian Act a way to sponsor their parents or grandparents when IRCC opens an intake and issues an invitation to apply.
You may already have some documents and many questions. Bring both. We can help you organise the information you have and understand the next steps. A consultation does not guarantee an invitation, approval, permanent residence, or faster processing. IRCC makes all decisions and sets the current program rules.
PGP is different from the Canada Super Visa, which is a temporary visitor route for eligible parents and grandparents rather than a permanent-residence sponsorship program.
Before you apply
Parent and grandparent sponsorship involves the Canadian sponsor and the family members who hope to join them. Before you begin, it helps to know the current intake status, what the sponsor must show, and which documents the family may need to prepare together.

Look at the status, relationship, and income records you have. You can also note any co-signer details or IRCC correspondence before your consultation.
Bring your questions to the consultation. Before applying, confirm every final requirement, form, and submission step on Canada.ca.
